For the love of God, this track’s awesome. If only Indonesian rapper can use this beat and change it to probably…..”Monas State of Mind”? Haha…..

P.S: This song talks about the greatness of New York City with its Empire State of Building. Just so that you can understand what i mean with the Monas State of Mind thing. And one more thing, nobody wants to hear Menara BNI 46 state of mind. So Mr. Company, please be more creative in naming your building, thank you.

Singapore....Malaysia...The Trip of Nekadness

As always, my hair got long at the very best times possible.

Yep. I’m in Singapore last week. With my Uncle. I got there with Indonesia AirAsia (For obvious reason :D) on Wednesday very early in the morning, then we start roaming around the city, got lost in the tidiness of the city, confused as the city’s just probably a couple of miles away from Indonesian city which i’ve never visited before (Batam) but are far better on every level in public service.

I’m also tired. Damn tired. As the bus there can only stop at a bus stop (as oppose to here, which all the bus, no. All methods of transportations can stop practically everywhere as long as the bus is able to brake), and not every bus that go through a street stops at every bus stop available, so we have to search for the correct bus stop. And me and my uncle being the smart traveler, we have zero knowledge of Singapore bus system. :D So we depends ourselves solely with the locals directions. Long story short, we’re lost for hours, but well, it’s fun. :)

But don’t worry, after all the tiredness, i got to sleep here as a reward:

Haha XD what an experience right? It’s a dorm based hostel with 12 bunk bed in one room. AND I GOT TO SLEEP IN ABOVE. IMAGINE HOW I GOT THERE! :D

But seriously, staying in hostel like that will be one of the thing i remember the most from my Singapore trip. I got annoyed by 4 Nepal & Vietnamese traveler who can’t stop singing annoying song and laughing like a hyena. Got to taste how it feels to sleep directly under a huge-ass air conditioner with supplies of Pringles, White Chocolate and F&N Grape Soda beside my pillow. It was awesomely nice.

One of the thing i didn’t understand is how i suddenly got so courageous, and also responsible when i was alone in there. I woke up before my Uncle did, i walk alone to McDonald at night, i go downstairs, use the wi-fi, meet some foreigners, have awkward “hello” and little chat. Haha, i thoroughly enjoy everything.

Then, after 2 days of living in the super-clean, super tidy yet super tiring Singapore, i continue my journey to Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur to meet my sister, @anjaniput3ri. A city where i can only say “wow, this looks a hell lot like Jakarta” but then retract back the statements. It was a hell lot like Jakarta, if Jakarta was on Steroid.

In Malaysia, i half enjoy half hate the experience of being totally alone for the first eight hours. I got the longest laid back conversation with people while i’m alone, and i finally realize why all alone-traveller said being alone means the locals are more open to you. I mean, they are very friendly. And also, i got to experience ST12 playing as the background song of my Singapore-KL flights. Ha.

And i….oh wait. This supposed to be just like 2 liner post. :D I plan to blog the whole thing on my other blog http://gagah.me, as there’s a lot of stories i wanna tell, and this Tumblr is only for short brainpee only. So i guess, i will just stops here. :D
